I laid down waiting

Waiting for it to hit

For it to reach my veins

I felt it in my head first

Then the mania crept in

The anxiety snuck its way into my brain

And soon the tears rolled down my cheeks

The lights flickered

And the hallucinations came

I couldn't move

I couldn't breathe

I've been told to stop

To let it go

But they don't understand

I want this

I need this

Now my blood is pumping

And my world is freezing

My heart is beating fast

And I'm slowly slipping
