Yes. Orion provides verification of enrollment so that learners may apply for a driving license or permit. Learners must be in good standing to receive a verification of enrollment. To request a Verification of Enrollment, learners must message the Registrar's, through the internal/classroom messaging system. The VOE will be provided the next business day.
Learners in other states must follow their states' requirements for licensing. Orion will provide any documentation needed, by following the procedure outlined above, and by uploading the required documents in the message.
Orion's graduates are in all branches of the Armed Services. Orion High School is a high school diploma granting institution, and is, therefore, qualified under Tier I status; however, Orion often works with recruiters to help them understand Orion's status.
No. Orion High School is an accredited, approved, private high school. Learners graduating from private schools do not take state exit level exams. Those types of exams are intended for public school students. Orion High School does allow learners who will be transferring to public schools to take those assessments proctored locally at Orion High School. Learners should contact advising.
Orion High School is approved by the NCAA Eligibility Center.
Orion High School has two tools for learners:
1. Apply Texas, for Texas residents
2. The Common Application for learners outside of Texas
Yes. Orion has grades 6,7,8 who are considered as enrolled at Orion High School.
