New, Noteworthy, and Revised Courses aT 6-8

Learners at the middle level, follow the course taking sequence found in the About Grades 6-8 Section of the Admission area.  Core courses for grades 6,7,8 are set, but are revised according to a bi-annual schedule.  The following courses have been revised and/or have been created in order to better serve Orion Middle School learners.

Productivity:  Using Word and PowerPoint

word pp OMSThis course was created to better assist middle school learners as they progress through the grade levels.  Since many courses require that learners create PowerPoint and/or Word projects, we created a course that teaches learners the ins-and-outs of working with these two tools.  Learners create structured projects in the course, and then are able to apply their learning to their future work in our digital school.  The course is open to any  learner at 6th, 7th, or 8th, and may be taken at the end, after completing core course requirements for the grade level.
