NHS News & Events
On March 16, 2017, Orion High School's Chapter of the National Honor Society held its first quarterly induction of the year. During the month of March, NHS Adviser John Feierabend reviewed graduation planners of full-time grade-level learners and selected those who met the scholarly requirements for membership. Those who accepted membership have attended the induction ceremony and/or will be completing a membership acceptance form.
The chapter will introduce a new leadership opportunity for members of the National Honor Society this year. Committees will be assembled by the Adviser and Officers in to represent and promote the four values of the society at Orion High School: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. The concept will allow learners the ability to complete service projects that benefit the quality of life for learners at Orion High School for their required monthly service hours. Expect to see fun events, information sessions, and more from the members, committees, and officers of the National Honor Society starting in April!
