Welcome to the Orion Online High School Course Catalogue. Orion requires 23 credits to graduate with your high school diploma:

  • 5 credits in English Language Arts (Grammar & Composition, English I, English II, English III, and English IV
  • 4 credits in Math (Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus OR Personal Finance
  • 4 credits in Science (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy
  • 5 credits in Social Sciences (World Geography, World History, U. S. History, Economics, Government)
  • 1 credit in Health/Fitness
  • 1 credit in Career Exploration
  • 1 credit in Speech/Communication
  • 1 credit in Technology
  • 1 credit in SAT Study.

Physics is designed to study matter and energy and their interactions. Fundamental concepts in the areas of mechanics, light, sound, heat, electricity, magnetism and nuclear phenomena are introduced.
